Sweet Mung beans - Thotil payaru.

Mung beans -1 cup (soaked overnight)
Brown sugar or Jaggery 1/4 of a cup
Freshly grated coconut or dried unsweetened coconut flakes 2 table spoons.
Cardomon powder 1/4 teaspoon


Pressure cook all the above ingredients for about 20 minutes and serve warm.
If you do not have pressure cooker, cook with two cups of a water in a covered sauce pan for 30 -40 minutes.
If desired can add nuts like cashews, almonds, walnuts etc warmed in a little browned butter.
